With the current flood situtation unfolding, our hearts and thoughts go out to those across the east coast, as I'm sure we all remember the devastation caused by the 2021 floods in the Mid Coast region.
The MVNA Association building was hit hard last year and we lost many of the essential things that keep the sport of netball running in the Manning.
One of the many things lost was our seven field sport first aid kits, that are not only stocked with the essentials needed to provide basic first aid, but much of the things needed to support our active players and the unavoidable injuries that come from playing our sport. These kits play a big part with our Representative Teams as they travel all around the state with each team when they are representing our region at carnivals and State Titles.
You may or may not remember back in July 2021, MVNA were lucky enough to place 4th in the #EssentialEnergyCommunityChoices program and we were awarded with $1000 in funding.
This funding has recently been used to purchase seven new first aid kits, so that our players can be confident in knowing that we will have what we need to treat injuries (fingers crossed we don't have any!) quickly and to the best of our ability with adequately stocked first aid kits.
A huge thanks to Essential Energy for running the Community Choices Program and to all our MVNA community who voted during the program and put us in the position to receive this funding.
